So disappointing to find the people of Florida rave about the seafood at Bonefish. People of Florida...you're better than that! I know you love the strip malls and the chains-that-no-one-outside-Florida-ever-heard-of. But Bonefish? Really? A step above Red Lobster, perhaps, but 5 star? I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops with Teriyaki with the mashed potatoes. The potatoes were serviceable, but the Shrimp and Scallops were just not fresh and drown in some type of pepper seasoning to hide the fact that they were not brought off the boat yesterday. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with Mango Salsa. One problem, they forgot the Mango Salso, so they brought out a side dish with some of the cold salsa. The sea bass, which is generally supposed to be moist and buttery-flavored was butterflied and cooked to a crisp. Fortunately, they added a ton of pepper to save the day! At least the kids liked their dishes (fortunately for them, they do not like fish). My daughter said the Mac and Cheese was the best she'd had since Ruby Tuesday's, quite a compliment. And the Kendall Jackson Chardonnay was also good (yes, they can work a corkscrew). The service was OK. Our server added an extra order of fries to our bill for the little ones because he thought the servings were too small. Yep, my 2 year old needs her own order of fries...thanks. At least Red Lobster gives you value for a dollar, unlike Bonefish. It's overpriced, chain seafood. You're on a peninsula people! 3 sides surrounded by water. Please, people of Florida...you can find good seafood, and it's not at Bonefish.

First time to Bonefish Grill, and we loved it! We read some reviews and they talked about the Bang Bang Shrimp. Had to try them and OMG they were so good. We then shared the Calamari, a caesar salad, and the Crab Cakes. Ok, these were by far the best Crab Cakes we have ever had! They were chunks of crab, coated in Panko and lightly fried served with a sweet tangy sauce. OMG they were the best. Our server Melissa was the best as well. Only advise, don't eat the yummy bread with pesto garlic dip. It is too good, and might inhibit your appetite for other yummy foods. Five words, Yum Yum., I will be back!

Food was great, service was very good and the place runs like a well oiled machine . . . though after half an hour we found ourselves back in our car wondering how 6 people just did appetizers and entrees in such a short time ! It was busy (we made reservations) so maybe we just got shuffled through (though we didn't feel like we were being shuffled at the time) Only two less than perfect comments : 1) entrees arrived when we were still eating the appetizers 2) it was pretty dark in there - this being south west FL it felt odd to be shutting out the sunshine that much (we ate at 6PM) Overall - definitely recommend, though advise making reservation.

This restaurant is fantastic not only do they provide customers with fine dining atmosphere and service but the food man the food is sooo good. The best part is that it all comes at an affordable cost. This place is consistent, great food, great service, great atmosphere, affordable and they have promotional offers for happy hour.

When we arrived we were seated immediately by an adorable hostess. Once we were seated, we had to wait about 10 minutes for anyone to approach our table. But once he did, he was a delightful server. The food was good. The only downfall was a big one. They have somewhat of an open kitchen concept there. And the entire time I was distracted by a line cook who continued to blow his nose, play with his ear buds from his iPod, scratch his hair and touch everything in sight (including making several adjustments to his "pants"). He never washed his hands the entire time I was there. Yet he continued to cook on the line. I mentioned it to the manager as I was leaving. The manager did not seem to care. Which wasn't really shocking to me considering he let it go on to begin with. Food safety is all about proper hand washing techniques and using gloves. The man did not use gloves and did not wash his hands. Not even after blowing his nose into a paper towel. I'll never go back. That's just gross. I'm a regional director of food & beverage in the area and would never allow that to happen in my restaurants whether you could see it or not.

The bang bang shrimp keeps us coming back time and time again!! Best to start off with the bang bang shrimp immediately with the drink orders, so you don't have to wait too long for it! (Trust me you're gonna want it!) The whole menu is pretty desirable, I've had the Kobe beef burger which is phenomenal! The beef is so juicy, I def crave this burger at least 3 times a week! Easily one of our favorite spots to eat in the area!!

The food at the Bonita Bonefish never disappoints, alway fresh and delicious. The only issue we had was with the hostess, snotty, rude, obnoxious, un-polite.

Visited same Bonefish last night with my wife. Seated at the bar we ordered dinner and made a special request to our server that the food come out hot. Our two entrees came out fairly quickly - and as is the case in a lot of restaurants the food wasn't hot enough. I always get a laugh when the server is holding the plates in a napkin and tells you to be careful that the plates are hot. The only restaurant that you really need to believe the server with this warning is Ruth Chris with their 500 degree plates. THEY SERVE HOT FOOD. However our server / bartender who's name is Jordan handled the situation with great professionalism and corrected the situation very quickly and to our total satisfaction - thank you Jordan - you made our visit to BF an enjoyable experience. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW YOU CAN COOK FOOD COLD??????

We enjoyed apps and wine at the bar. Hap the lamb lolipops, lobster tacos, and a half dozen oysters. Everything was tasty well prepared and presented. The vibe at the bar is quite nice without the noise and hustle of some other chain upscale places in the area. All in all a good experience recommended.

For a chain seafood place, this is tops! 3 of us ate dinner, 2 had drinks, 2 had desserts and it was 95 total. Pretty good deal. I guess they have a new system where you totally customize you meat/sauce combo. It works! The started salad was little pitiful in size and crispness, but nothing else had anything to complain about. We enjoyed trout, grouper and shrimp and scallops. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgable. Not busy at all on a Sunday night.

Our Saturday date night, we decided to go to BoneFish Grill in Bonita Springs off of US41, it was a great idea! We were seated right away, no wait on a Saturday evening which is pretty much unheard of this time of year especially for a restaraunt of this caliber. We were seated in a corner booth for two, which was cozy and quiet. We started with a couple of ice cold adult beverages which were just what the doctor ordered. The corn crab chowder was very good, I wasn't a huge fan of the bread that they bring to the table but it was a nice touch. Our waitress was very attentive and not overly attentive or under attentive, just right. Our meals came out pretty fast and we ordered shrimp and scallops and a filet with crabcakes and everything was cooked perfectly and was just enough food. We will definitely be back again!

Simply terrible dining experience. Food was edible but poorly presented and certainly not a bargain -- of the four orders, not one plate was presented to the right person by the waiters; the fish and chips came without the french fries; some of the food was hot, some lukewarm; the tuna was a beige lump on a beige plate with a beige mound of spaghetti squash on the side; the $15 hamburger was worth $7.95; the $50 bottle of wine retails for $15 -- an astonishing markup for a chain restaurant that buys in bulk. The waiter came by twice to clear dinner plates while two of us were still eating...and the restaurant was not crowded and we were not lingering...why the rush? We will never eat at another Bonefish Grill if we can avoid it.

Excellent--Always. The fish tacos are the best, with delicious home made chips, the mussels are the best I've had, the Kobe burger is to die for. Their drinks are very good and they are generous. Staff always friendly.

The food here is delicious. I suggest getting the bacon wrapped sea scallops and the bang bang shrimp! Both delicious. My only complain is that anytime I've ever been there it seems to be over crowded and whatever they clean the floor with makes my heels slide across it. Other than that the service is good and the food is excellent.

Wonderful service, drinks, & food! I was skeptical since it's a chain restaurant but everything was spectacular! We had the spicy shrimp appetizer with fresh bread. Baja fish tacos were outstanding! My friend had a spicy tuna bowl that was very good too! Cilantro lime shrimp salad is another delicious option. Hope to return soon!

The bar is nice. The bartender was very nice. The wait was shorter than estimated. Our table was in a very noisy location. I think they were kitchen noises-lots of banging. The waitress was one of the best. The bread is the best. The food was very good. My entree could have been hotter. I had the grilled shrimp and scallops with potatoes au gratin which was nice and hot but very salty My husband had the stuffed tilapia which he liked, but he thought the potatoes too salty also. I will try them again with reservations

Bonefish grill is one step above Red Lobster in food, appearance and service and most important price. 4 people had a very nice meal for under $100.00. Not too bad. Had the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer. The best way to describe the taste is Shrimp Dijong with a bit of a zing. I also for whatever reason ordered the Shrimp Fettucini. This was a very different dish. It had spinach noodles and a strong flavor of lime in the sauce. A very nice twist on a classic dish.

Genre for rating: upscale casual, seafood Admittedly, I am always shocked when I see the swarms of cars parked at Bonefish. Maybe it's because I know there are so many other places to get seafood in SWFL. Maybe it's because everything tastes like Carabas, but with seafood. Maybe it's because the tourists don't know any better, and locals do not want to venture out. Whatever it is, I cannot believe diners choose this chain when there are so many other establishments, with fresher menu options. The food is ok at best, and it is souped up so much that you could not taste how fresh the food really is. What I got: the bang bang shrimp everyone raves about, a (hardly) fresh catch of grouper spruced up so much it was unrecognizable Best bet: if you are really in the mood for seafood, hit one of the many other quality seafood restaurants in the area

This. Was. So. Good. Beginning to end, a fantastic meal. Even the water was good. Bread - crunchy, soft. Hot as hell. (in a good way) The oil was infused with some spices and what tasted like cilantro. Nearly drinkable. Coconut Shrimp Appetizer - Bomb. I would venture a guess that the shavings of an entire family of coconuts somehow made their way in, on, and around the shrimp. The sauce was chunky and sweet, like it should be - but it ended with heat. Even better. Ahi - Spoke for itself. Perfectly prepared. Shrimp & Scallops w/ Mango Salsa - I'm all about fruit and cilantro together, so I was pretty biased about this dish even before it got to the table. It did not disappoint. The steamed vegetables had salt, pepper, and a little butter on them, and you could tell how insanely fresh they were, which is probably what made us order an extra plate of them. All that food plus two glasses of wine - a whopping 57 dollars. Not only was the food amazing, but we spent about 40 dollars less than it tasted like we were going to. And even at 20 minutes past the kitchen's close (it was a late dinner,) the waitstaff still sincerely asked us if we wanted coffee/dessert - unlike some other places where they boomerang the check on the table just as the forks go down.

Over-priced, under-performing servers and kitchen. This particular Bonefish is getting by on their rep, not their service or food. Tucked away in a non-descript corner of Bonita Springs, this place should over-deliver on food quality and service. They do not. I was there for dinner a couple of nights ago. I ordered the Sirloin and crabcake dinner, which I upgraded to the filet. While the filet was cooked as rquested, the cut was most certainly NOT filet. It was more like eye-round. It was tough, chewy and I couldn't cut it, even with the serrated knife. I ate 1/4 of it, as that was all I could choke down. This place is to be avoided at all costs. Go to the restaurant in Naples, the people in Naples are less forgiving than those in Bonita Springs, I guess. I will never go back to this Bonefish. I urge you, dear reader, to avoid it, as well.

Ok so we all know Bonefish has consistently good food but this is the season for their swordfish/pumpkin ravioli special. This is great. If nothing else make a stop to try it and leave. You will not be disappointed. Tis all.

We celebrated my birthday there last night. The food was outstanding! The experience was awful. If you are looking for a great dining experience, find another place to go. In the past we always recommended Bonefish, but it is no longer on our favorites list. By the way the waiter was great but he was so embarrassed, he asked the manager to visit us. In my opinion, that just made the evening worse. Bonefish Grille needs to wake up and realize what is going on.

It's good. It's only the 2nd Bonefish I've ever been too. The atmosphere is much nicer than the one I went to years ago in Richmond, Virginia. Very crowded on a Friday night in season in lent! Duh! However, the bang bang shrimp were the best thing that we had. It was an appetizer but you can order bang bang shrimp tacos as an entree; which I wish I did. The grouper was fresh but lacked a little flavor. My husband had the swordfish with spinach and feta; which he liked. The sides weren't great. The cooked (I don't like them cooked) chick peas with tomato and some other things mixed in were mushy and tasteless. The potatoes au gratin lacked flavor and could have even been pre-frozen. In any case, I would advise sitting outside, having a bottle of wine and having the bang bang shrimp if they allow you to do this! One more thing.....the brown paper that they lay on top of the tables is tacky....it's misfitted and blows when it's windy....not such a great idea! The waitress pretended that she wasn't rushing us to order dinner; however she came by our table every 2 minutes to ask us if we were ready to order dinner, lol!..........We just wanted to enjoy our bottle of wine...but no!

Good food good service. Bang bang shrimp is outstanding...a must get. Overall food was good but not a large selection. Surprised that Grouper was not on the menu. Parties in our visit had grilled trout, salmon sandwich, fish tacos, and steam snow crab. The meals were good and we enjoyed them, but we were not blown away. The Bang Bang Shrimp would definitely bring me back for another visit.

So shoot me it's a chain. And it's awesome. Mostly seafood as well as a few landfare selections. Love the service, decor and most especially the delicious, consistent food. Bang Bang Shrimp delish,Calamari, Seared Tuna, Chowder, Steaks, all perfect. Perfect every time. I just had the Kobe burger as I was craving red meat, and even that was flawless, Every bite was a joy. There is this one & another location downtown Naples. Highly recommend.

Maybe because I was very curious about this place and had heard so much about it, I was expecting so much better. It was decent at best. I had the mussels which were plump, juicy, and fresh and could have been a home run but the sauce wasn't a hit. Also had the Bang Bang shrimp, spicy and delicious! Edamame was good, not oversteamed. The crab and corn chowder was good but nothing to write home about. The ambiance was nice. Waiter was great and location was fantastic. On a nice pier.

Not too busy on a fri nite. Just like the rest of the chain- but in a good way. Tuna is great, as is the bang bang. Asking the waiter for a bang is always great.

We were in Naples and went to this place for dinner with my parents. We got there early to beat the rush, because there is a major rush. The food was spectacular. I had the parmesan and pistachio encrusted trout and it melts in your mouth, granted it is sauteed in butter so that helps! My mother had the sangria and was very happy with that as well.

My husband & I follow yelps advice base on reviews and we agree the food was awesome! Love the new dinner for two menu was delicious & affordable $36 and u get appetizer, salads & 2 entrees. Service was also great! We highly recommend the calamari for appetizer & the grilled shrimp & scallop to die for. Overall a great experience & they had drinks special for $5 a drink we loved the sangria.

I'm not normally a fan of chains but Bonefish is my favorite restaurant, period. The food is simply amazing, great atmosphere, great service. For appetizers try the saucy shrimp, the bang bang shrimp and the mussels Josephine. I almost always get fish for an entree but I have also had some great steaks here. Great crab cakes as well. The staff is typically VERY friendly, efficient and helpful. I prefer the Bonita location over the Naples location although the food is great at both.

Great Service and Excellent food. The Lobster Ragoons should always be on the menu!

Bonefish continues to be top notch. The pork chop with fontina and mushrooms may have slouched out of the barnyard, but ended up here being served like a baron's feast.

Service & food was definitely 5 star. Our server Cindy was the best!

Food and service are always excellent! Get here early or you will wait a long time for dinner.

Amazing dining experience. very fresh fish, awesomely presented. we started out with the Crispy Calamari ,Tender calamari lightly fried and served with marinara sauce and Thai sweet hot sauce. . I went with the Chilean Sea Bass the fish was cooked to perfection over a wood-burning grill, and choose for my topping the Chimichurri Sauce. A sauce made with extra virgin olive oil, Italian parsley, flavored with garlic and red pepper. I also got the the side dish of garlic mashed potatos and some awesome corn. My Friend order the Pistachio Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout .Sautéed and topped with artichoke hearts, fresh basil and lemon butter. He really enjoyed it. his wife went with the Gulf Grouper topped in the Chimichurri Sauce, she also said it was the best meal she has had in a while. The service was awesome, the food was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. a good time was had by all, how could I give anything less than 5 stars.

Good food but the pork I got there was swimming in some sort of heavy sauce. Go for the fish and a fun atmosphere.

Went there again, and it was delicious as always.
